About Our School
Arany János Reformed Secondary Grammar School is a well-established Christian-based secondary school located in Nagykőrös, Hungary. We provide high-quality education for students aged 13–18 through both six-year and four-year grammar school programmes. Our educational profile includes strong academic tracks in Science, Information Technology, Foreign Languages, and Communication. The school places great emphasis on talent development, innovative teaching methods, digital learning, and successful preparation for final examinations.
As a Reformed educational institution, we also focus on values-based education, community building, weekly religious education, and the development of responsible, open-minded young people.
Our school has a rich cultural life. We are proud of our student theatre group and our successful choir, both of which play an important role in developing creativity, cooperation and a strong school community.

Erasmus Accreditation
Our school received Erasmus accreditation in 2026, enabling us to develop a long-term internationalisation strategy and strengthen European cooperation. Through Erasmus+, we aim to create sustainable partnerships, enhance staff and student mobility, and exchange innovative educational practices with schools across Europe.

Job Shadowing and Cooperation Opportunities
Our Erasmus+ programme includes job shadowing activities, student group mobilities and teacher training courses. We are actively seeking partner schools where our school principal and educational staff can observe and exchange good practices in student-centred teaching methods, digital education, inclusion, sustainability, language education and school leadership.
Through these opportunities, we aim to strengthen international cooperation, support professional development and broaden our students’ European outlook.
We are equally happy to host visiting teachers, school leaders, and Erasmus+ participants in Hungary. Our goal is to establish long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships based on professional cooperation, innovation, and cultural exchange.
